Asia doesn’t understand why she’s back.Nearly eight years ago, Asia left Zeus’ Rescues as a tiny puppy and went home with her family.This week, through absolutely no fault of her own, she was returned to us.For almost eight years, Asia has known what it means to have a home. A couch. A routine. Her people. A place where she belonged.And now she’s in a shelter.She is scared, confused, and completely out of her element. She doesn’t understand the noise or the kennels or why the life she knew suddenly disappeared.And the hardest part? Asia asks for absolutely nothing.She is quiet. She is gentle. She is an absolute doll. She isn’t demanding attention or making a fuss. She just looks at us like she’s waiting for someone to tell her everything is going to be okay.We want to do better than tell her.We want to get her back into a home.Asia is nearly 8 years old, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. She has spent her entire life as a beloved house dog, and we desperately want to get her out of the shelter environment as quickly as possible. She would do OK with another calm dog. We can cat test her if you are considering taking her into your home where cats live.We are looking for an IMMEDIATE foster or adopter for Asia.If you prefer to adopt, her adoption fee has been reduced to $100.Eight years ago, someone chose this tiny puppy and gave her a home.
