Meet dewey
Dewey is a 3yo mini Aussiedoodle. We got him as a puppy and he has always been a ball of energy. He will gladly sit on anyone's lap, loves walks, and will play keep away at all times (fetch has always required treats). He also loves to lick.
Dewey will also bark at any car or person who ventures near our house but will stop the moment they walk through the door and will immediately want to play with them.
The primary reason we are rehoming him is that he bit one of our kids. We don't know the exact circumstances; our kids can be overly affectionate to him at times (i.e. trying to pick him up or hug him) and this has only happened once in the entire time we've had him. However we have children at our house often and no longer feel comfortable having them around Dewey.
Ultimately, Dewey needs a yard, which we don't have. Walks have been fine and he loves being outside but without a space for him to run he always has a ton of energy left at the end of the day.
