Meet lucy
Lucy is a 7 year old ray of sunshine that is one of the best dogs we’ve ever had. We adopted her from Burien when she was 4 years old, and she’s been the best companion anyone could ever ask for. She’s recently started to overcome her fear of water, and loves to go splash ankle deep in a creek! Her favorite toys are rubber balls that she can squelch on, and anything that she can tug with you with. She is still full of life, love, and energy at her old age- she forgets about her achy joints, so you need to be the adult in the situation and cut off playtime when she starts to slow down, even if she doesn’t want to. If she’s not greeting you at the door with a toy, she’s busy being a couch potato and waiting for the sun so she can sunbathe and nap.
She would do best with an experienced owner who can give her a lot of attention- she does well with people of all ages, as long as they know how to be gentle. We have not seen her with cats, but she has peacefully lived with 2 Frenchies.
