Meet Eli! She is 3.5 years old and weighs 11 lbs. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids.

Eli is with a foster in Puyallup

From their foster:
Eli is affectionate, playful, incredibly smart, independent, and wonderfully funny. She enjoys being close to her people and playing with her furry friends. Even though she is a grown pup, Eli still has a playful that makes her so much fun to have around.

Eli has medium energy. She loves playing with her doggy siblings. Once she has had enough playtime, she happily retreats to her crate for a nice, long nap. 😴💕 She loves nothing more than a long nap!

Her crate is her safe and happy place It is important that she always has access to it and can go in and out whenever she chooses. Eli is a very clever little girl and has already figured out how to open metal crates! 😂 It is good that she is well behaved and does not cause any problems when left along. Eli is fully potty trained.

One of Eli’s funniest—and most impressive—qualities is that she is a little escape artist! 😂She can jump, climb, and get over surprisingly tall fences. Because of this, her new family will need to be extra careful with her while she is settling into her new home. Her yard should be secure, and she should always be supervised outside until everyone is completely confident that she cannot find a way to make her great escape.

She is also learning to walk on a leash since walks were not part of her previous routine. During her adjustment period, her family should be especially careful when taking her outside and make sure she cannot slip out of her leash.

🍗 And Then There’s Eli’s Little Secret: Eli has discovered that being tiny does not mean you have to stay on the ground. It is best that she does not have unsupervised access to the kitchen because, if there is food sitting on a table or stove, Eli may decide that she absolutely needs to investigate. And she isn’t always stealing it for herself! Sometimes Eli will climb up, grab the food, and send it flying down to her doggy siblings, who are patiently waiting below for their delivery. 😂🐶🍗We have a feeling Eli believes she is the family’s official snack distributor!

Eli is a friendly and social girl who gets along with dogs of all kinds, cats, and children.

She does prefer to eat separately from her furry siblings and does not like other dogs eating from her bowl. Giving her her own quiet space during mealtime will help her feel comfortable and relaxed.

Eli is one of those little dogs who proves that the biggest personalities can come in the tiniest packages. 💜 Once she feels safe and comfortable with her new family, we know she will love discovering the world alongside them. 🥰
