Meet Dolly! This sweet girl recently arrived at BARCS as a stray, and we are still getting to know her. Her finder described her as very friendly and reported that she did well with their dog.Dolly is understandably feeling a little nervous as she adjusts to the unfamiliar sights and sounds of the shelter, but she has been incredibly sweet, easy to handle, and very tolerant with her new friends. She is also super easy to leash and return to her kennel.During her time in the play yard, Dolly wasn’t quite ready to play—and that was perfectly fine with her! Instead, this precious girl chose to cozy up beside her volunteer and enjoy plenty of gentle pets. She seems happiest when she can stay close to someone who makes her feel safe and loved.Hot dogs are definitely the way to Dolly’s heart, and they are a great tool for helping her build confidence and make new friends. With her gentle nature and affectionate personality, Dolly is truly the sweetest baby. She would love a patient, caring family who will give her time to settle in and show them just how special she is. Dolly has met other dogs at the shelter, she is a social playful girl! She may need to meet any doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match. Come down to BARCS and meet Dolly!
