Chalino’s Story
Chalino was adopted as a cute little puppy, but his owner’s work schedule became too demanding. Because he spent long hours away from home—and couldn’t safely bring Chalino along in a work truck during hot weather—his owner made the difficult, loving decision to find him a home where he can have more companionship and attention.
A friend also gave Chalino a chance, but had the same issue: long workdays and not wanting to leave this sweet boy alone all day. Chalino has done nothing wrong. He simply deserves a home that has more room in its routine for walks, cuddles, playtime, and being included as part of the family.
His Personality
Chalino is a sweet, affectionate, lovable guy who enjoys being close to his people. One of his favorite things is hopping up beside you when you are sitting down so he can give hugs and soak up attention. He has that wonderful, warm personality that makes a house feel more like home.
He gets along well with the other dogs in his current foster home and is comfortable using a doggy door to go in and out. Chalino already understands the comfort of a home environment and would love a family that will let him keep being a cherished indoor companion.
