PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Copper! Copper is approximately 9 years old, 22 lbs currently and he might some Beagle in his mix. He found himself at one of our partner shelters after being picked up as a stray. In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training, hasn`t had much experience with crate training yet, and walks well on leash. He could join households with kids and other dogs. He hasn`t been exposed to cats. No apartments, please!His foster says, `Copper is the most friendly and loving dog I have ever brought home! I have fostered many dogs over the years and he is very special. He loves absolutely everyone he meets (he thinks everyone is his best friend lol). He wants to lay in your lap and snuggle up to you. He would make a great therapy dog. He is still working on house training but has very few accidents. He gets along amazing with any dog he meets. He will sit for treats. He LOVES to sleep in the bed with you and snuggle up as close to you as he can get. He sleeps all through the night. I am going to miss him so so much when he leaves. If I could keep another dog he would definitely be the one!`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on October 9th.
