FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDEDMeet Zero!Zero is a 6-year-old, ~ 29 lb Rat Terrier who came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. He arrived with his housemate, Winnie, another Rat Terrier. The two are not required to be adopted together, but they certainly wouldn’t mind sharing a home again.Zero is sweet, goofy, smart, and full of personality. He is a true Rat Terrier with plenty of drive, energy, and attitude! He’s an active, intelligent guy who loves having something to do and would thrive with a family that understands and appreciates the unique traits of the breed. He also walks well on leash and is a fun companion to take along on adventures.Zero can do well with other dogs but prefers slow, thoughtful introductions rather than being thrown right into a new friendship. With the right introduction and a compatible dog, he can make a great canine companion.We’re looking for a home with Rat Terrier or similar breed experience that understands these dogs are smart, energetic, and can have a big personality in a small package. Zero will do best with someone who can provide structure, enrichment, exercise, and continued training while also appreciating all the quirks that make Rat Terriers so much fun.Zero is a sweet, clever, high-drive little guy who is ready to find someone who will keep his mind and body busy and love him for the big personality he is!Zero is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
