Now let's talk about this magnificent curly-haired Italian.

Bruno is a 4-year-old Italian Waterdog, a rare breed here in the United States and closely related in looks and characteristics to the Portuguese Water Dog. His paperwork may call him a Portuguese Water Dog, but we're pretty confident Bruno himself would tell you:

“Scusi. I am Italian.” 🇮🇹😂

And Bruno is not merely water tolerant.

This boy was built for WATER.

Swimming?
Si!

Playing fetch?
Si!

Running around and doing all the sporty dog things?
SI! SI! SI!

Bruno is the kind of dog who would happily spend the morning playing fetch, the afternoon swimming and the evening lounging around looking like a very handsome, slightly disheveled Italian movie star.

And then there's the hair.

Look at this dog!

Those curls are absolutely spectacular. Bruno doesn't have ordinary dog hair. He has Italian hair. It apparently has its own personality, opinions and possibly a better social life than most of us.

But underneath all that fabulous fluff is a genuinely wonderful dog.

Bruno is housebroken, knows some basic commands and is working on his leash manners. He's athletic, playful, affectionate and a whole lot of fun.

He also has one important requirement:

Bruno needs to be the only dog in his home.

He does well playing with other dogs outside the home, but he didn't get along with his canine housemate, so we're looking for a home where Bruno gets to be the one and only four-legged bambino.

He's perfectly capable of filling the position.
