This sweet boy needs a new home. We adopted him from a shelter and I really don’t want him to have to go back to one. He is 2 years old, about 72 lbs and he’s a lab/ Dutch shepherd mix.

His paperwork said he came from a home that had small and large dogs and kids. He’s house trained and gets along great with our other dog and my husband. The paperwork also states that he resource guards. We haven’t experienced this with him, he eats near our other dog and allows her to even lay near him while he eats. He does show aggression at the vet when the techs try to touch him. He does have a muzzle that will go to his new home.

I strongly believe he was abused by an older male possibly with a grey beard. When he was introduced to my dad he was absolutely terrified and attempted to nip him multiple times out of fear. This is the driving force behind re homing him.

He is a very talkative dog and it’s so cute when he “talks” to us. He is very active but loves naps.
