Meet wally
My neighbor passed away and I told the family I would take the dog so they would not have to surrender him. He is a sweet, affectionate dog whose favorite thing in the world is simply being with his person. He does not need a particularly active lifestyle or a lot of entertainment to be happy. He enjoys walks and does well on leash, but he does not need long walks or extensive exercise. Given the choice, he would much rather stay close to his person than venture too far away.
He is happiest in a calm, comfortable home where he can cuddle on the couch, watch TV with his person, take naps nearby, and sleep in bed at night. He forms a very strong bond with his person and genuinely seems content just knowing they are close.
He can be shy and cautious with new people and dogs, but he warms up with patience and time. Once he feels safe, his affectionate personality comes through. He would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted dog
