This is Nellie. I’ve had her for about 5 years, since she was around 4 months old, and making this decision absolutely breaks my heart. Due to a new job and now living somewhere without a fence, I’m no longer able to give her the lifestyle she deserves.Nellie is:• Smart, loyal, protective, and active Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix• Housetrained and knows several commands• Great on car rides and walks on a leash• Spayed, microchipped, and does well with other dogs• Best in a home without small children or catsNellie loves to run and would thrive in a country, farm, or ranch-type home with someone familiar with active herding breeds. She loves being inside, sleeping on or under the bed, and being with her people. She does have anxiety and can be nervous around men.
