Looking for a canine companion who has officially retired from the puppy life? Bandit might be just the guy! He’s a sweet and independent 14-year-old Toy Australian Shepherd who has perfected the art of taking it easy!
As a super senior, he has decided that life is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace. His favorite activities include napping, eating, and wandering the house or backyard. He’s not looking for a busy, adventurous lifestyle — he’s looking for a loving home where he can spend his retirement feeling safe and cherished. He would love someone who appreciates the quiet companionship of a senior pup and doesn’t mind giving him plenty of time and space to relax the day away.
His ideal home is one where he can snooze all day, receive gentle attention, and simply be spoiled. He loves treats and will happily do a little dance in exchange for a tasty snack. He would prefer a quiet environment with minimal stairs and no small children. He can coexist with dogs of all sizes but doesn’t show a lot of interest in playing. He has not been around cats in his foster home but would likely do just fine.
If you’re looking for a low-key companion, Bandit might be your perfect match. Senior dogs often get overlooked, but they deserve the chance to spend their golden years surrounded by love.
Bandit is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.
