Meet shaggy
Shaggy is a sweet, affectionate guy who enjoys snuggling with his people and playing with his dog toys. He is currently living in a foster home with primary school-age children and both large and small dogs. In his foster home, he adores the children. He is crate trained, knows how to use a dog door, and has done well in a fenced yard without trying to escape. Shaggy knows sit, stay, and shake, and he is highly food motivated—treats are a great way to continue building his skills.Shaggy may be a little unsure around some adult men and seems to prefer women, so he will do best with patient, positive introductions. He also needs slow, proper introductions to other dogs. With a little time to settle in, Shaggy will make the perfect loving and fun companion. He really is a wonderful dog and we know his perfect home will be thrilled to find him.
