Meet ryder
For the first four years of his life, Ryder was a sweet, affectionate dog—an energetic, sometimes rambunctious jumper, but also a true cuddle bug and wonderful companion.After I had a child, his behavior changed. He became uncomfortable and standoffish around my child, so we kept them separated to ensure everyone’s safety. However, I fear that confinement is the cause for why he has begun exhibiting aggression (no bites) toward children and now strangers. I am being honest about his current behavior, but I know this is not the dog he has always been. I fear a shelter may judge him solely by his aggression and euthanize him before anyone has the opportunity to understand him. I am hoping someone with bully-breed experience might be willing to take him on. I hope someone will see the loving, loyal companion underneath the behavior and give him a chance. He is about a year overdue on shots and has some environmental skin allergies but otherwise a very healthy 6 year old. Breed = pit-mix
