We are looking for a special home for our 9-year-old Australian Shepherd, Ame. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but with our second baby on the way, we’ve realized we don’t have the bandwidth to give him the time, activity, and affection he deserves.Ame is incredibly loving and wants more than anything to be wherever his people are. He loves attention, companionship, neighborhood walks, and simply being near you. He would thrive with someone who is home often and wants a loyal companion.He does get overwhelmed by loud environments, crowds, and busy outings, so a calmer home would suit him best. He has grown up around our young child and has never shown aggression, snapped, or attempted to hurt her.We love him dearly, so finding the right fit matters much more to us than finding a home quickly. We want someone who will love this sweet boy as much as we do. ❤️
