Meet Winston!

Winston is a beautiful young Lab who is ready to leave his days as a stray behind and find the family he deserves!
This handsome boy was found wandering as a stray when a kind family stepped in to help him. Winston is about 1 year old and currently weighs around 45 pounds. He came in a little underweight, but he’s gaining weight and looking better every day.
Winston is still very much a puppy at heart! He is happy, playful, affectionate, and full of energy. He loves being active and would be happiest with a family that enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and spending time with their dog.
Because Winston is young and energetic, he needs a family that is willing to continue working with him on obedience and training. He’s already learning every day and will thrive with someone who can give him consistency, exercise, and plenty of positive attention.
After being on his own, Winston is getting his chance at a whole new life. He has so much love and happiness to share—now he just needs an active family who will help him become the wonderful companion we know he can be.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts local and in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
