She just needs a little time to settle in and learn that she’s safe. Once she’s comfortable, her snuggly, playful personality really starts to shine!
Because Coconut can be easily overwhelmed, she would do best in a calmer home without a whole lot of chaos and craziness. She needs someone who understands that for some small dogs, the world can feel pretty big and scary sometimes. A patient family who will give her time, respect her boundaries, and let her gain confidence at her own pace is exactly what this little girl needs.
Coconut is house trained and crate trained and does well with friendly small to medium-sized dogs. She’s also great with gentle children. She loves being petted and scratched, playing with toys, and settling in with a good chewy bone.
When it’s time to relax, Coconut takes cozy very seriously. She loves snuggling in bed and burrowing under the covers with her person. She also rides wonderfully in the car and is perfectly content tagging along as a little purse pup while you’re out and about.
