Meet Jolene. ❤️

Jolene might look like a big dog in her pictures, but she’s only 26 pounds and just under a year old, so we don’t expect her to get much bigger.

This sweet little girl has a very sad past. She was found in deep South Texas with duct tape wrapped around her muzzle, and you can still see the scarring around her nose.

But somehow, Jolene hasn’t let what happened to her change who she is. She is fun, loving, gentle, and absolutely loves people. She doesn’t know a stranger and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. We can pair her with just about anybody, and she’s happy to make a new friend.

Jolene deserves to know nothing but love from here on out. ❤️
