Holly is a beautiful, playful, fun, affectionate, and loving five-year-old, 56-pound, female black and white Husky-mix looking for a loving guardian. Holly is perfectly well-behaved, housetrained and crate-trained. She knows the commands sit, down, paw, other paw, and roll-over. She loves to show off all her tricks! She’s fine as an apartment or condo dog or in a house where she can do zoomies in a fenced-in yard. She’s typically quiet unless she needs to communicate with you. She does have a strong fun personality and she’s a very smart girl. Holly thinks she’s a snuggly little lap dog and LOVES to play ball. In the home, she settles down nicely. She gives kisses and absolutely adores her people. She loves her leashed walks, is absolutely phenomenal passenger in the car. She’s also good with most other dogs. She does have a high prey drive so no cats for her … and she hunts down bunnies and birds on walks. Found as a stray, she was dropped off at Chicago Animal Control and taken in by Friends of Petraits Rescue. Holly is very healthy, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on rabies, distemper, bordetella and leptospirosis vaccines. She is fecal and heartworm tested negative, and on monthly preventative.
