Maya has had several homes throughout her life (5), but after being rescued from neglect, she was lovingly trained into the sweet well-behaved dog she is today. She absolutely loves people, is very calm and affectionate, and would thrive as the only pet in a stable, consistent home. Her biggest challenge is her tendency to run away when given the chance, so she needs a secure environment and could benefit from continued socialization training.
