Meet smokey $500
Nice to meet you! My name is Smokey, I'm a labby boy who's about 50 lbs and 2-3 years old. I just arrived here in WI and have only been in my foster home a few days, but my foster family wants you to know what they've learned so far. I haven't had any accidents in the house, I slept quietly in my crate the first couple of nights but have been trusted to find my own spot lately (psst - I prefer to sleep with the humans but don't hog the bed). I didn't like the leash at first, but now I love my walks, sniffing and exploring are the best! I'm shy when you meet me, and may even bark! But that's to let you know I'm unsure, I'm a gentle soul who prefers to run and hide. Women are easier than men, but if you give me time I'll trust you and become your big squishy friend. I like my doggy friends, I prefer the calm ones as I don't approve of those crazy pups, and aren't thrilled with strange dogs in my face. I do like playing chase, tug & wrestle with the other dog here, but am also fond of long naps. haven't met any cats yet, and would need patient kids that could let me take my time.
