barry - puppy of pennie

Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Barry! Those short little legs are pretty hard to resist - and then you meet Barry’s personality and it’s game over! Barry was born on June 27, 2026, to Pennie, an incredibly sweet Irish Setter mix. He’s one of the smaller puppies from the litter, and his adorable low-rider build is one of his most adorable features. One of Barry’s brothers had a DNA test that revealed a mix of Irish Setter, Miniature Dachshund, and bully breed, which may help explain those wonderfully short legs! And while Barry’s legs may be short, his personality is anything but. He is incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a playful, mischievous streak that keeps things fun. Barry loves attention, enjoys his toys, and is always ready to be part of whatever is happening. He can go from happily soaking up cuddles to getting into a little puppy mischief in the blink of an eye. He’s the kind of puppy who will make you laugh, melt your heart, and keep you thoroughly entertained. Like all puppies, Barry is still learning about the world and will need a family who is ready to help him grow into the best dog he can be. His new family should be prepared for potty training, continued socialization, positive-reinforcement training, and teaching him good manners. Puppyhood takes patience, consistency, time, energy, and plenty of love.  Barry will be adopted with a spay/neuter addendum. Barry is currently being fostered in the Orlando area and is available for adoption to families throughout Florida. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy with an irresistibly adorable low-rider build and a playful little mischievous streak, Barry just might be your guy.
