Originally rescued from a hoarding case, she was lucky enough to find her way to a wonderful dad who spoiled her and loved her for several years. He became her whole world, and her his. When his health declined and he had to move into assisted living, Dolly couldn’t go with him. She didn’t understand why her person was suddenly gone. She cried, searched the house for him, and waited for him to come back. It was absolutely heartbreaking. Thankfully, Dolly is safe with us now — and this sweet senior girl is showing us just how special she is.After only a couple of days in her foster home, Dolly settled right in. She gets along with all the dogs in the home and seems perfectly fine with cats. She appears to be house trained, walks nicely on leash, and is wonderfully easygoing. She loves stretching out in a sunny spot, but what she really wants is a lap to curl up on and someone to love. Dolly is the kind of girl who doesn’t ask for much. She simply wants to feel safe, loved, and wanted again. She may be a senior, but Dolly has plenty of life and love left to give. After everything she’s been through, she deserves a family who will cherish her and keep her safe like her dad did.
