Meet daphne
Daphne is a playful, opinionated, 6 year old Blue Heeler. She's all smiles and play, spry, clever, and is excited to be with her most loved persons. She gets into mischief and is high energy - she needs a home with a lot of stimulation, and a carer with a sense of adventure happy to wear her out. She currently lives in a fenced yard, is crate trained and is housebroken. We are not aware of any health issues, she was examined and vaccinated in June of this year.
We are looking to surrender Daphne because Daphne's prey drive is incompatible with living with our cat. We have attempted a slow introduction, and chase and capture became the natural outcome. We understand this is a trait related to her breed, and regrettably it's not sustainable for us to keep her. Daphne was also my mother and father's dog, and both passed in a three-year period, which is understandably a lot for Daphne's short life. She is beloved, and we want to honor the wishes of our parents in ensuring her happiness.
