Zoe is a 6yr old sweet, loyal girl who's a little shy with new people but affectionate once she trusts you. Looking for a calm, attentive home that understands her specific needs.Ideal home: Someone home most of the day (she's never been left more than 4 hours so, isn't used to a full workday alone), advocates for a dog who is anxious about/doesn't want strangers petting her, only dog in the household, no kids, someone who likes to hike or walk in the woods.Needs to be the only dog. Please do not apply if you have a dog or plan to add one to your household.What she's good at: Trained with a good recall, easy in the car, and capable of public outings (dog-friendly breweries, restaurants, quiet trails) as long as strangers aren't approaching her directly and she's not around large groups of dogs. She loves sniffing and exploring in the woods. It’s her favorite thing.At home: Happy on the couch or relaxing in her crate — not a high-energy, bouncing dog indoors. Likes to lay in the grass.
