Meet Carl!
2-year-old Yorkshire Terrier Mix | 16.5 lbs | Cuddle Bug | Dog Friendly
Carl is a sweet, affectionate little guy with the perfect mix of couch cuddler and adventure buddy. At home, he’s a pretty chill boy who loves being close to his person, snuggling up, and playing with his toys. But once that leash comes out, Carl is ready to GO! He has plenty of energy on his walks and loves getting out to explore.
Carl gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. His feelings about cats are still a little unclear, so for now, a cat-free home would be the best fit.
This little guy becomes attached to his people quickly and really loves having someone nearby. He has shown some signs of possible separation anxiety in his foster home and may need a family willing to help him build confidence when left alone. A home where he isn't regularly left for long stretches would be ideal while he settles in and learns that his people always come back.
Carl is also a playful boy who enjoys his toys, takes his time enjoying his meals, and is happiest when he gets to be part of whatever his people are doing.
At only 2 years old, Carl has so much love and so many adventures ahead of him. He’s looking for a forever family who wants a loyal little shadow, a walking companion, a snuggle buddy, and a best friend all wrapped into one adorable 16.5-pound package.
