*SECURE FENCED IN YARD REQUIRED*
Age: approximately 1 year
Weight: 30lbs
Dog friendly: Yes, requires one in forever home
Cat friendly: No
Kid friendly: Yes, older kids only
Potty trained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes
Meet your new best friend! ❤️
This handsome boy with an infectious smile is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and easygoing. He absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily curl up beside you after a fun play session. Beware Rusty is a face licker as it is his favorite way to show affection!
He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play with. He's also very quiet around the house, making him an easy roommate. Smart and eager to learn, he enjoys playtime but also knows when it's time to relax and take a nap.
He's made great progress with his potty training and understands that he should go outside now. Like many dogs, he may occasionally have an accident, especially during rainy weather or during times of transition.
One thing to know about this athletic boy—he can jump surprisingly high! Because of this, he'll do best with a secure fenced yard or an owner who will supervise him closely while he's outside. When Rusty first went to his foster home, he needed a lot of leash training. Now he’s a pro! He also does great in the car and in public spaces, like parks or breweries.
If you're looking for a loving, intelligent, gentle companion who will make you smile every day, this sweet boy could be the perfect addition to your family!
Adoption fee: $525
