FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED
Meet Franklin!
Franklin is a 2-year-old, 17 lb Yorkshire Terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He’s a sweet, happy boy who is still working on building his confidence, but we’re seeing more of his personality come out every day!
Franklin does well with other dogs and actually came to us with another little Yorkie mix named Dudley. The two are buddies, and Franklin has helped Dudley feel much more confident in new situations. While they love each other, they do not need to be adopted together and can absolutely go to separate homes.
Franklin is treat motivated and wants to learn and explore. He’ll benefit from a patient family who can continue helping him build confidence and discover how fun the world can be. He would do well with another friendly, confident dog in the home who can give him some extra security and companionship, but he could also be happy as an only dog as long as his family is committed to keeping him well-socialized and helping him continue coming out of his shell.
Franklin is looking for someone who will give him the time and encouragement he needs to blossom into the confident little companion we know he can be. Once he feels comfortable, he’s a happy boy who is ready to be your sweet little sidekick!
If you’re looking for a gentle little guy who just needs someone to believe in him, Franklin may be your perfect match!
Franklin is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $550.
