Four-year-old Maggie is a beautiful sable German Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger love of life. She is outgoing, friendly and loves everyone she meets especially children. She readily accepts affection and thoroughly enjoys being part of the action.

Maggie is what we affectionately call a “ball dog.” She loves playing fetch, toys and anything that keeps her moving and engaged. She is very high energy and would be a wonderful companion for an active person or family who enjoys long walks, hiking, outdoor adventures and plenty of playtime.

Maggie is looking for a home where her enthusiasm, affection and energetic spirit will be appreciated. For the right family, this beautiful girl has so much love and plenty of tennis-ball-chasing—to give!

Maggie’s owner welcomed her into her home two years ago after learning that Maggie had been living outside 24/7. With the very best intentions, she wanted to give Maggie the loving home and better life she deserved.

Maggie went on to live with three other dogs. Unfortunately, one of the older dogs in the home never really became comfortable with Maggie, who can occasionally be a little bossy with other dogs. That said, Maggie currently attends doggy daycare, where she spends time with other dogs and does very well. With small children in the household, managing and keeping the dogs separated became increasingly difficult. Heartbroken, Maggie’s owner reached out to GSRNE for help finding her the right home.
