Don’t let size or age fool you! This little senior lady has energy and personality for days. Did we mention ears? Her ears are almost bigger than she is! Definitely her signature feature! Everyone in her foster home (dogs and cats!) was bigger than she, but that did not phase her. Marti wanted to fit right in with the dog pack! Cats, however, need not apply - she got a lot of exercise chasing cats, so a no-cat home would be the healthier choice for both her and the cats. She is at that age where a little exercise, like a short walk, is preferable and good for her. A small privacy fenced yard to sniff and explore would be nice.
Marti likes bath time, followed by a nice rub down and being wrapped up in a fluffy towel on your lap afterwards. A happy little explorer, she rides well in the car. When it’s time to snooze, she will sleep through the night in the crate but would be happy to sleep next you too! Daytime snoozes are best enjoyed curled up on the couch next to you.
Other than exercising the foster’s resident cats, Marti has been a perfect guest! She seems to be potty trained when kept on a schedule, waiting to be picked up in the morning (she’s light as a feather) and taken outside to do her business!
