Meet bella
Meet Bella! This 3.5-year-old spayed female German Shepherd mix (~60 lbs, light and dark brown coat) is bright, affectionate, and very food-motivated — a joy to train. She knows sit, stay, sit pretty, shake, high five, down, and leave it, and loves giving kisses and being in the middle of family life. Bella has moderate to high energy and needs an active adopter who will keep up her training with plenty of exercise. She is still polishing her manners — she may jump when greeting and alert-bark — but she is eager to learn. Good with children and other dogs; no bite history. NO-CAT home required. Spayed and current on vaccinations (Feb 2026); vet records available. Heartworm test and fecal screening are pending. Fostered in Nashville, IL through Spencer Pet Rescue. She and her buddy Biscuit can be adopted together (preferred) or separately. Available ASAP — placement goal is end of October 2026.
