Meet kiya
This is Kiya, she is 5 years old, her birthday is on February 1st. I got her when she was six months old from a bad situation, they would beat her and never feed her (she was almost skin and bones when I got her). I healed her up and she became my companion over the last five years, unfortunately and sadly, I moved out of my parents house and took her along with me. I have come to realize I cannot continue living in Texas so I’m moving, but along that process I realized that I cannot take care of her any longer. It’s heartbreaking for me to say that, but I need to put her needs above my own. I feel she has become miserable and depressed with me no longer having time for her, she is always fed and has water, but her mental needs I have not been able to keep up with due to now having more responsibilities than I did before. I thought I could do it, but I realized I wouldn’t be able to give her much time with me working all the time. I just want her to go to a really good home.
