Meet teddy
This is Teddy, a 5 year old, sweet and loving Sheepadoodle. He currently lives with us, a family of 5, including 3 young kids and 2 adults. Sadly, last September Teddy started losing weight rapidly and out of nowhere. We had a handful of expensive testing done to find the issue. It was decided that he has a condition called EPI. This requires prescription dog food, along with additional additives. It is quite costly and time consuming. After a year of these changes, he still hasn’t gained weight back and shows signs of always being very hungry. As heartbreaking as it is, we just cannot afford to continue testing and the increase in costs for these foods and additives. We tried many rescues, who have all denied us, along with the humane society. We are hoping there is someone who is willing to try and help him get better and give him the chance he deserves. All vet records are available. Pictures show him before sickness and another recently showing his weight loss. 😭
