Meet Sammy! 🐾💙
Sweet Sammy found himself in a noisy, open-admission shelter in South Florida, and all of the loud sounds and commotion were incredibly scary for this sensitive boy. Thankfully, a wonderful couple saw that Sammy just needed a chance and welcomed him into their home as a foster. ❤️
For six weeks, they showed Sammy that the world could be a pretty wonderful place. He was given the time and space he needed to feel safe, build his confidence, and learn what it’s like to be loved in a home. Sammy has done incredibly well, and now he’s ready to take the next step and find a family of his very own! 🏡
Sammy is good with other dogs and cats and would love a family who understands that trust doesn’t always happen instantly. When he arrives somewhere new, he’ll need his people to let him open up at his own pace. It might take a couple of hours, or it might take a couple of days—and that’s perfectly okay. 🥹💕
Give Sammy a little patience, kindness, and reassurance, and you’ll get the opportunity to watch this sweet boy realize that he’s safe and finally home.
Sammy has already come so far. Now he just needs someone willing to give him the time he needs to show them just how special he really is. 🐶❤️
