Meet ben

Meet Ben!

Ben is a senior Beagle mix with the sweetest, most laid-back personality. He is only 9 pounds ! He isn't looking for a busy lifestyle or endless adventures-he's perfectly happy simply being near his person.

Ben's favorite thing is finding a cozy spot in whatever room his person is in and settling down for a good, peaceful rest. He's an easygoing guy who just wants companionship, comfort, and a soft place to spend his golden years.

He thinks belly rubs and pets are the best! Ben does great meeting new people. He did well with our grandchildren ages 7 and 11.

Ben gets along well with the other dogs!! He is beginning to initiate some play with his foster brothers and sisters. Ben enjoys car rides and walks. He walks well on a leash and is happy to go on a nice mile or so walk!

He is housebroken and crate trained. He eats and sleeps in his crate. Ben will let you know when he's ready to get out of his crate by singing! Especially when you return home after being gone for a bit. Ben loves his people!!

At night Ben sleeps in his crate. He goes in quietly and doesn't make a sound all night! However we know He would love a home where he can sleep in the big bed with his family because that's what he prefers

He has had his teeth cleaned bloodwork down and chest X-rays for his heart murmur!!

He is on one medicine for his heart to keep him as happy and healthy as can be for as long as possible. This boy certainly deserves all the love!!

If you're looking for a gentle senior companion who will happily keep you company without demanding much, Ben may be your perfect match.
