🇵🇷🖤Meet Leonel, a “Sato dog” from Puerto Rico! A “Sato dog” refers to the mixed breed, stray dogs on the island. (Majority are small-medium size but some can be larger). Island dogs are smart, loyal, highly trainable, and thrive on routines and consistency. They have wonderful demeanors, make devoted companions, adjust well to their environments, and are a perfect mix of energetic and affectionate. There is no love like the love of an island dog.
Leonel was found solo in Cupey, PR. He is a sweet, docile boy, and is doing well regarding various puppy-training concepts including: Basic leash training, potty, basic commands, etc. Leonel would need positive crate training and he does well with a pen setup!
