This handsome gentleman was running loose for several days with several smaller dogs when he and his companions were rescued by a caring group. The general consensus is that they somehow lost their loving home and suddenly found themselves on their own, facing the extreme Texas heat. Werthers earned his name because he is just that sweet! He is a senior gentleman in excellent health who is housebroken, has excellent manners, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Werthers is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and neutered, so he is ready to find the loving forever home he deserves. Due to his recent flea infestation and exposure to the harsh Texas weather, Werthers has experienced some hair loss. It may be related to flea irritation and possibly color dilution alopecia, but the good news is that his hair is already growing back!If you`re looking for an easygoing, well-mannered, sweet senior who will fit beautifully into your family, Werthers is your boy!
