11-month-old Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix. He is a very smart, sweet, friendly, playful, and lovable dog. He loves being around people and has been great with kids and our cat.He knows sit, stay, leave it, and come, and he has a lot of potential to continue learning with consistent training. He is potty trained, neutered, up to date on shots, and current on worming and flea/tick medication.We are needing to rehome him because, as much as we love him, we cannot provide the freedom and care he needs. He has a strong herding instinct and chases our chickens and cows. We had hoped that a GPS collar would be the answer to his need for boundaries, but we have not been able to make it work reliably. We also aren’t home enough to give him the freedom, exercise, and attention we wish we could.We believe he would do best with a fenced yard or plenty of space to run and play, or with an active owner wh
