Meet harley
Harley is a retired hunting dog who was found stray in fall 2025 and taken to the shelter. She was given medical care and has been in foster with Hawaii Pointer Rescue since. She is a sensitive, timid, loving, goofy, food-motivated, snuggly girl. Her favorite things are to snuggle with her BFF sharpei and food and treats of any kind. She is very quiet and trustworthy with dogs and cats, but doesn't prefer high energy puppies. She has some timidity issues around leash handling and bathrooming (she startles easily on walks and shuts down) that we would need to cover with an adopting family and because of this, a fenced yard is 100% required. She is available for interisland adoption, or foster to adopt / trial adoption on the Mainland. She would do best in a home with 1-2 adults and either late teen children or no children.
