This is Wonder! He is a male Pit Bull Terrier who is around 9 years old. Just a senior gentleman looking for a comfy bed to sleep in! He will be ready for his forever home after his surgery tomorrow. Read more about Wonder: 🌟 Talkative 🌟 Spunky 🌟 Kid friendlyWonder is starting to exhibit behavior that tells us he is EXTREMELY overwhelmed in the shelter environment. When Wonder finally gets out of his kennel, he is nippy. This is NOT an aggressive behavior. So why is Wonder doing this? 🔴 High noise levels - constant barking and frequent activity causes animals to be on alert which is exhausting 🔴 Confinement & small spaces - our kennels are small and he spends most of his time cooped up. He needs his own space to run and relax 🔴 Lack of connection - no matter how hard we try, staff cannot match the level of affection that a home offers. When Wonder gets human attention, he’s so excited and he doesn’t know what to do with those feelings so it manifests as nipping 💟Where do YOU come in? 💟The BEST way to help Wonder is to get him into a home, which can be a foster or adoption. Wonder is an older dog who prefers to be the only pet. He loves to be anywhere people are. Wonder also loves a good toy to play with.
