Meet opi

Meet Opi!🐾At 10 years old and just 3.3 tiny pounds, Opi may be pocket-sized, but this little lady has already proven just how strong she is. She entered our care after a shelter reached out about a large mammary mass that desperately needed attention. Opi underwent surgery to have the mass removed and received a much-needed dental. For the past couple of weeks, she has been recovering beautifully with the help of her incredibly devoted foster mom. Now, this little miracle is ready to find the forever home she fought so hard for. 🄹Opi has the sweetest, gentlest disposition. She can be shy at first, but once she decides you are her person, her love runs deep. When she is happy, her little tail starts wagging and she does the cutest tiny prance. Her favorite place in the world is close to her person—especially curled against your chest with her head resting over your heart while she gazes up at you with the sweetest little eyes. She also makes an excellent movie-night companion…just ask her what she thought of Spider-Man!Opi is a very chill, quiet girl who would much rather be cuddled and carried than head out for a big adventure. Harnesses, leashes, and crates aren't really her thing, but she would happily ride along with her person in a cozy sling! Give her a secure yard for potty breaks and a sunny spot to soak up some rays, and she is perfectly content. ā˜€ļøDespite her tiny size, Opi has an independent streak too! She is house trained and has mastered the doggie door all by herself. She does well with other dogs and could live with a calm senior friend who respects her space and slower pace, but she certainly doesn't need another dog. Opi is perfectly happy soaking up all of the attention herself.Opi's perfect forever home will be a quiet home with a secure yard and someone who is home more often than not. Because of her preferred potty routine, she is not a good fit for an apartment or condo. She would much rather have a little yard where she can soak up the sunshine and go outside at her own pace.Opi isn't asking for much—just a peaceful home, warm sunshine, plenty of cuddles, and a person she can completely adore. After everything this 3.3-pound little miracle has overcome, she is more than ready for the soft, spoiled forever she deserves. To apply to have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website at https://longwayhome.org/adopt.ā¤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.
