Meet apollo
Apollo is a very sweet 2-year-old boy whose birthday is June 20th. He needs lots of patience, love, affection, and understanding. He absolutely loves tennis balls and cuddling with his people.
Unfortunately, we are having to rehome Apollo because he does not do well with children. He previously bit a child after being stepped on, so he needs a home without children where his boundaries can be respected.
Apollo is okay with other dogs, but they must be separated during meals and whenever treats or food are involved, as he can be protective of his food.
He can also be very wary of strangers and may growl when he is uncomfortable. However, he has never lunged at, snapped at, or bitten a stranger.
Apollo definitely has some challenges, but he truly is a good boy who deserves a chance with someone experienced and patient. He needs an owner who is willing to put in the time to work with him, understand his needs, respect his boundaries, and give him the love and attention he deserves.
