Meet Loch Ness! This sweet and friendly girl is already showing us what a fun and affectionate girl she is.Loch Ness is a medium-sized girl at 43 pounds. She can come out with some excitement, but settles in nicely and is easy on her leash. She has not been reactive to other dogs while out and about and is very attentive to her person. This smart, fun girl is very food motivated and takes her treats so politely.Loch Ness loves playing “find it” and is happy to show off her “sit.” She is patient and eager to please her person. She is an enthusiastic explorer, but she is also incredibly responsive to her handler`s guidance on the leash. She is also incredibly attentive overall, turning around immediately if you make a kissy noise or say anything to her. This clever girl will make an incredibly fun training partner as she learns all sorts of new tricks.Loch Ness also has an adventurous side and loves strutting her stuff on the agility equipment. This girl is such a ham! She is smart, playful, downright gorgeous, and has an impressive array of ear formations!Loch Ness has a cuddly side too. Take a break on a bench and she’ll climb right up next to you for cuddles and scratches. In the yard, she even climbs right into your lap for pets and snuggles. Loch Ness just loves to lay in your lap and soak up all the body scratches she can get!Loch Ness recently attended the Stop, Drop, Adopt event at the White Marsh Firehouse, where she was a total social butterfly! She happily greeted everyone she met and wagged her tail whenever someone stopped to give her attention. She was especially wonderful with children of all ages.When Loch Ness needed a break from socializing, she was perfectly content to plop down and relax. She remained calm when a cat walked by on a leash and did well overall around the many dogs and people at the event, although she did bark at one small dog. Her shelter notes indicate that she does best with male dog companions and is not a candidate for dog parks.Loch Ness was also a fantastic passenger, snoozing for most of the ride there and back.
