Meet ruby
**Trying to get her an appointment at UCAN to be spayed before adoption; will update post if I'm able to!
This sweet girl's name is Ruby! We took her in after someone posted her on facebook saying she needed rehomed that night due to them needing to be hospitalized for surgery the next day. She is approx 7 months old and weighs around 35-40 lbs. We think she is a basset hound bully mix of some sort. She is very long and has very short little legs. She has a very goofy, quirky personality and it's impossible not to fall in love with her. She is very submissive and loves all other animals and children. She's a little standoffish meeting new people, but comes around after a few min.
She needs a fenced in yard (she has no road safety skills lol). She would also do best in a home with little to no stairs due to her short legs. A perfect home is a must! She is literally the sweetest girl. We were hoping she would work in our home, but we don't have a fence and it is just not safe here.
