Roxy Heart A18670137 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -She had so much fun running around the yard and exploring. She chased after several toys but didn’t pick any up or engaged in play.-She took a treat nicely that I offered before spitting it out. Inside she was more receptive to treats though. -She knows “sit” and takes them gently.-Inside, she briefly played with a stuffie a couple times-She enjoys pets but doesn’t sit still long. Total puppy vibes!-Walks nicely with minimal pulling-An active girl looking for a family to provide exercise and mental stimulation-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
