Rama is a 3-year-old shepherd mix who is doing the quiet, steady work of learning to trust — and she's making real progress every week.
On leash she's a gem: gentle, responsive, and completely unfazed by traffic, joggers, and strollers going by. She's at her best in the company of another dog, and a calm canine friend has been the thing that draws her forward more than anything else.
Rama is looking for someone experienced and patient who understands that a dog like her gives her trust slowly, and who finds that kind of relationship deeply worth building. She'll need a home that lets her settle in at her own pace. Our team knows her well and would love to talk with you about what she needs.
