 This is Pug, who was rescued from AC last Friday. He's 7 yo and is 14 Ibs of cuteness in need of a foster who can appreciate his quirkiness. He is fixed and UTD on his vaccinations. He is mostly very loving and snuggly, but he does have some triggers that cause him to react and bite. He enjoys other dogs (and doesn't mind cats) and is quite playful. He's mostly house trained (no issues with regular potty breaks) and happily wears a belly band if needed. He does not like to be crated, but he really doesn't need one. He prefers to be in your lap or snuggled in bed with you.Recommend no small children and a foster with experience with bitey dogs. He needs some time to decompress and help figuring out what makes him reactive. He will be a very nice sog Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee.
