Fun, Friendly, and Full Of Love....Meet Our Lucy!

This little pup is Lucy and she is an approx 1 year old, 5lb, Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Doxie mix) that is the cutest thing ever! Lucy came to us with her brother when they were abandoned and left in a stroller that said "free." Thankfully, a kind couple took them home. They did the proper protocol of trying to find the owner (no microchip), but no one ever claimed them. Unfortunately, while they were with these people who took them home, the boy, Linus, fell off the couch and broke both legs. The people took him to their vet, but surgery was needed and they could not afford it. They reached out to our rescue to see if we could take them in and we said yes! We had Linus transported immediately to our vet and surgery was done the next day. He is now in a cast recovering with weekly bandage changes. We had put them in different foster homes and they are doing wonderfully, so we feel strongly that they can be adopted separately as long as there is another young and playful dog in the home. If you do not have another dog, Lucy could be adopted with one of her friends. An adult only home where the owners are not gone long hours during the day and a home with a safe/secure back yard is a must. Lucy just takes a bit to warm up and feel safe, but once she does....you will see her fun personality shine! She is such a happy, silly, playful, and loving little dog and we know her forever home is out there!

Lucy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

We only adopt in The Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required.
