Meet Brisket, the 74 pound bulldog mix who has become an absolute legend around the shelter.

Low to the ground and built like a bowling ball with legs, Brisket's favorite way to say hello is by enthusiastically body checking his favorite people before dramatically flopping onto the ground for a good roll. Personal space is more of a suggestion when you're friends with Brisket.

His other great love in life? Food. Every kind. At every opportunity. While most dogs dream of steak, Brisket has developed a surprisingly refined taste for banana chips. Mention snacks within a hundred feet of him and suddenly he becomes the fastest bulldog you've ever seen.

Brisket often wears a permanently confused expression, as if he just woke up in the middle of someone else's dream. Don't let the goofy face fool you though. He's incredibly house trained, knows exactly when breakfast is supposed to arrive, and isn't shy about expressing his disappointment if room service is running behind schedule. He has perfected the classic bulldog art of being stubborn, charming, and just demanding enough to make you laugh.

Around other dogs, Brisket is non reactive and minds his own business. More than anything, he's looking for someone who appreciates everything that makes bulldogs so lovable. The comedy, the stubborn streak, the goofy antics, and the endless personality packed into one short, sturdy body.
